Why acupuncture?
Acupuncture has many benefits—from increasing blood flow to tight muscles, plugged sinuses, or stimulating hormones and energy in the body through use of specific points for better cycles or aiding in labor induction. Our clients love having acupuncture as a natural alternative in their care plan towards balanced health or an easier labor. Our providers have a special interest in hormone balancing with acupuncture for ideal fertility and vitality.
What to expect during your acupuncture session
Please wear comfortable clothing that can stretch and move as some points may be on your legs, arms, ears or back. (We have gowns and shorts available if we need to access a point that isn’t exposed.)
We will get you comfortable on the table with pillows and heat packs if desired.
We will clean and prepare the skin before beginning.
The needles are as thin as a hair and most clients barely feel them being guided into the acupuncture point.
Once applied, we’ll ensure you can relax for 5-30 minutes—depending on your preference.
Afterwards, we will quickly remove the needles and dispose in biohazard containers. Most spots don’t bleed at all, but we will check before sending you off.
