Woman receiving craniosacral therapy

craniosacral therapy can help babies, pregnant women & more…

The cranium and the sacrum need to move easily to bring nutrient-filled cerebrospinal fluid around the spinal cord and the brain. When these bones aren’t moving well, we can see:

  • Improper latch in infants during breastfeeding

  • Inability for baby to descend in the birth canal in labor

  • Low back pain in pregnancy

  • Poor infant in-utero position or failure for labor to begin/progress

  • Mouth breathing and snoring

  • Lack of palate expansion and narrow sinuses/mouths

  • Ears prone to fluid, hearing loss and ear infections

  • TMJ dysfunction & headaches

  • Brain fog, fatigue & learning issues

what does Craniosacral feel like?

Craniosacral Therapy, aka CST, feels like a very gentle massage. Your provider will use the pressure used to check a tomato’s ripeness to massage and lightly melt the restrictions found around your cranial bones, the sacrum and the connective tissue/fascia that connects these regions of the body that could be contributing to your current issue.

How long will my session last?

You decide!

We reserve an hour for your first visit to ensure we have adequate time to determine your goals for care before providing any therapy.

Typically for follow up visits, infants and kids tolerate 20 minute sessions well, and for pregnant women and adults, we reserve 45 minutes.

Our chiropractors also can also perform up to 10 minutes of CST with their adjustments, if time allots.

craniosacral therapy is gentle and comfortable to receive for any age.

Most infants feed or sleep through their session and can be held the entire time.

For pregnant women, we want you comfortable. Please wear something that you can get into any position, comfortably
