Craniosacral therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, massage-like experience, that when used with pregnant women, helps to ensure free movement of the sacrum and tailbone- key areas of the pelvis involved in the labor process. These bones must be flexible to rock back and forth during labor to allow baby’s head to move down through the birth canal. Using gentle touch to warm and soften the connective tissue (fascia) in the craniosacral system, the pelvis can release comfortably, allowing baby to maximize movement during birth and ideally, more comfort for mom.

During your visit, we want you comfortable. Please wear something that you can get into any position in-like leggings and flexible fabrics. During your session, we may work with you in different postures, including seated, standing, kneeling, or lying down comfortably with many pillows to support your body in a position that feels best for you. We will avoid any positions that you don’t feel comfortable in.
