Recently, I’ve been pursuing my Lactation Consultant Certification and am delighted to help moms and babies pursue their breastfeeding goals.

I’m originally from Crystal, Minnesota, and earned my bachelor’s degree in Biology with minors in Psychology and Leadership from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa.

I continued my education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in October 2024. Now, I have completed my lactation counselor certification and will pursue the IBCLC certification this Fall.

In May 2025, I married my husband, Tanner. We share our home with our energetic and lovable golden retriever, Millie.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy baking, cooking, gardening, and curling up with a good book.

I returned to school to get an equivalent to a B.S and attended Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO. I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan in August 2013.

At Logan I learned multiple adjusting techniques including Diversified, Activator, Basic, Cox-flexion Distraction, Gonstead, and Webster. I have a passion for a whole body approach to health, especially for women in the postpartum period through an advanced rehab program.

  • Dr Megan Hejny

    Megan Hejny, DC

Hi, I’m Dr Megan Hejny and I am beyond excited to be part of the amazing team of women chiropractors at Nourish.

I believe that chiropractic care plays a role in increased health and vitality. I was lucky to grow up as a “chiro baby” as my father is also a chiropractor. Seeing how it impacted my young life in such a positive way made me want to be able to share this with others. It is my honor to work in the realm of prenatal and pediatric care and my goal is to see families thrive.

My education began at the University of MN, Duluth where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology. I then received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University. While at Northwestern I did everything I could to learn more about working with pregnant mothers and babies. Some of the advanced training I have done includes courses through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), Webster Certification which is a technique to reduce intrauterine constraint for pregnant women, Acupuncture and DUTCH hormone testing to optimize women’s hormonal health, rehabilitation of infants with lip and tongue ties and protocols for working with children with sensory processing disorders. I am also a 200-hour certified yoga teacher with a certificate in prenatal yoga!

My significant other, Sam, and I have been together since we met in Chiropractic school. We love everything to do with the outdoors and have an activity for every season. Traveling and experiencing other cultures is a passion of mine. When I am home I have to try new recipes and I am always reading at least one book.

  • CST & Lactation Counselor, Lyndsey Robinson

    Lyndsey Robinson, LC

    Hi, I’m Lyndsey,

I care for clients utilizing lactation counseling and craniosacral therapy, sometimes in the same session and other times completely separate.

As a lactation counselor, I enjoy helping families meet their goals with breastfeeding. Breastfeeding rarely comes naturally but does have a high success rate when mother and baby are properly supported. I enjoy being part of that team to support a mother and help her meet her own goals.

I specialize in oral ties both before and after a release or even what can help if parents decide not to have ties released.

I now have personal experience with having a tongue tie release which helps me answer questions about the procedure in greater detail and share how it was life changing for me.

I have been a craniosacral therapist for the last several years and have enjoyed learning how this non-invasive therapy can be helpful in so many areas. People living with physical or emotional trauma, even small events, can find relief with craniosacral therapy. I have yet to see a baby who was born completely aligned with no tension in their body.

Craniosacral therapy can help release this tension and increase a baby or child’s chances to grow straight with less stress on their entire nervous system.

To learn more about craniosacral therapy, please see the description in the services tab.
